The following is a list of member tournaments that the club sponsors throughout the season. For each tournament there is a brief description and then, if available, an info sheet, entry form and, after the tournament is complete, a result sheet (if document is available a link will be displayed). Feel free to call the Pro Shop (465-9861) for more details. NOTE: The tournaments are listed in the order in which they normally start throughout the season.

Member-Member May

  • Open to: Men & Women
  • 8:00 am Shotgun Start
  • Men White Tee’s, Ladies Red Tees
  • All score cards must be signed & returned to Pro-Shop
  • Payoff 50% Gross -- 50% Net.
  • Ties - match of cards from 1st hole.

2-Ball Championship (Men)

  • Open to: Members (Men)
  • 18 hole match play best ball NET.
  • 80% Handicap, of difference from low handicap.
  • White Tees
  • Matches must be played by assigned dates
  • Top seed responsible for match date
  • Matches are played off the low handicap with all matches at 80% of the difference in handicap.
  • All matches MUST be played by the assigned date.
  • Teams will have 2 weeks to play the match; if a date can’t be agreed upon tee times will be set up for the final Sunday at 2:00. The team that shows for the time will be the winner.
  • Conflicts are to be resolved by Tournament Committee

2-Ball Championship (Women)

  • Open to: Members (Women)
  • 18 hole match play best ball NET.

  • Anyone can play in Championship flight
  • Championship matches from Blue tees
  • Womens' matches from Red tees
  • All other flights play from White tees
  • All matches are seeded by index
  • All matches must play by pre-assigned date
  • Conflicts resolved by the Tournament Committee

One-Day Member-Guest

  • Open to: Members - Men & Women
  • Four person teams 
  • Shotgun start at 2pm
  • Payoff Net 50% - Gross 50%
  • Carts are not included in Entry Fee
  • Special Entry form for sign up
  • Tie-Breaker match cards from 1st hole

Tournament: Member-Member June

  • Open to: Members - Men & Women
  • Shotgun 8am ( Pick your Partner)
  • Pick your own Foursome
  • Point Quota
  • Tie-Breaker -- Match cards from 1st hole

Married Couples Championship

  • Open to: All Members
  • Pinehurst 3pm shotgun
  • Alternate shot with both players driving and the selecting the ball to play

 One-Day Member-Guest

  • Open to: Members (Men & Women)
  • 4 player teams
  • Gross & Net 80% Handicap
  • Scorecards must be signed, attested & returned to Pro-Shop
  • Golf carts are not included in entry fee
  • Special entry form for sign up
  • Tie-Breaker match cards 18th hole back
  • Pay off Gross 50% - Net 50%

Senior Club Championship

  • Open to: Men & Women
  • Must be 50 years old or older with divisions by age groups 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
  • Anyone age can play in overall Championship Division
  • All matches for men at White tees, women from Red tees

Women's Member-Guest 

  • Open to: Women & Guests or Public
  • Format varies (often best 2 balls of 4)
  • Prizes for varying number of teams
  • Foursomes are formed by the Committee
  • Shotgun start at 9am
  • All matches from Red tees
  • Carts are not included in Entry Fee
  • Special Entry form for sign up
  • Lunch included

President's Cup

  • Open to: Members - Men & Women
  • Point Quota (with take away for triple bogey)
  • 36 Holes
  • Play in your own groups, with own starting time
  • All score cards must be signed, attested and returned to Pro-Shop
  • Triple bogey or more is minus one point
  • Tie Breaker -- Match card from 1st hole

Tournament: Parent Child

  • Open to: Public
  • Parent and Child must be members for championship
  • Pinehurst
  • Special Callaway Division for Non-Members

Men's Member-Guest

  • Open to: Men & Guests
  • 2 days (Friday practice round)
  • Five 9-hole matches against teams in your flight
  • Fee includes ( 5 meals each, tournament gift, prizes and all gratuities for Saturday and Sunday)
  • Special entry form

Junior Club Championship

  • Open to: Members aged 18 or less as of the tournament date

Medal Play Championship

  • Open to: Members - Men & Women
  • 5 Divisions
    • Handicap Championship Flight 0-7 Hdcp. or any hdcp that wishes, white tees.
    • A flight 8-12 hdcp. white tees
    • B flight 13-16 hdcp. white tees
    • C flight 17-23 hdcp. white tees
    • D flight 24 hdcp. up white tees
  • 36 holes
  • Pairings to be done by Handicap on Sat. and low scores on Sunday
  • Payoffs Gross 100% Each division
  • Tie-Breaker sudden death playoff

 

Fall Classic

  • Open to the public
  • 2 days (with optional practice round on the Friday before)
  • 4 Divisions - Gross and Net
  • 36 hole medal play tournament
  • Gross and Net prizes
  • $4,000+ in prizes
Pairings/Results

Red-White-Blue

  • Open to all Members and Guests
  • Players play 6 holes from each set of tees (their choice)
  • Gross and net prizes

Cry Baby Open

  • Open to the public
  • 2 person scramble
  • Groundskeeping sets the holes in really difficult locations.
